जो आज कविता लिखता हूँ वह दिल मैं यूं छप जाएगी , क्योंकि जो बात हमारी बातों मैं वह बात बड़ी रूमानी हैं , लहराती सी मस्त हवाये कानो मैं कुछ कह जाती हैं , बचपन की वह याद दिला कर फिर आंसूं छलकाती हैं| आज महंगी महंगी क्रीम लगाते , पहले मिटटी मैं सन जाते थे , कोल्ड ड्रिंक की बोतल वाले बंटा से खुश हो जाते थे, बीती बातें याद करूँ तो कुछ चीज़े हसाती हैं , और फिर कुछ यादें झट से यूँ ही पलकों को भिगाती हैं , अब बहुत मुश्किल से होता हैं, गुज़ारा ऐसी यादों मैं, पल पल घुटता पल पल सांस लेता वह बंद दीवारों मैं| बरसों बीत गए हमको अब इकठ्ठा करते करते यादें , अब हर तिनके को बेफिक्र उड़ने को मन करता है, हर तनहा तनहा लम्हे को पी जाने का मन करता हैं, बात मेरी तुम पूछ रहे हो किस से जाने -अनजाने मैं, बात पलट कर बात करो तो इस बात मैं छुपी कहानी हैं, जो बात हमारी बातों मैं वह बात बड़ी रूमानी हैं | समझाने की यह बात नहीं हैं समझ तो खुद ही जाओगे तुम, रात को रोते रोते सुबह झूटी हँसी दिखाओगे तुम, जब कमरे की हर एक दरार तुम्हे "बाई हार्ट" रट जाती हैं, जब धीरे धीरे सारी ...

कुछ  तो   बात  हैं इन  हवाओं मैं ऐसे  नहीं लहराते  थे पौधे पहले  आज मुस्कुराते  हुए देखा मैंने पेड़ो  को  शायद  कहना  चाहते  थे  ख़ुशी  दूर नहीं  हैं  प्यारे  इस  दुःख  के  अंधरे  मैं  आज  पक्षियों  को  कहते  सुना  मैंने  चलो  उड़  चलते  हैं  फिर  एक  बार  उस  उची  चट्टान  पे  उसी  बड़ी  चट्टान  पे  जहा  रहते  थे  तुम .कभी  कभी  रहते  थे  तुम  उस  उचे  अस्मा  मैं  वह  रास्ता  अब  सुनसान  हैं  कोई  चलता  था  वहां  वही  अब  उस  मंज़िल  से  अनजान  हैं  हाँ  अब  समझ  आता  हैं  फर्क  दर्द  धोखे  और  ज़ख्म  का  ज़ख्म  भर  भरके  छूप  जाता  हैं ...

I lay myself down today On the thorns of my misfortunes. I carry the burden of deep pain Everywhere this soul travels. One moment of grave sadness Takes away the feeling to feel the pain.
